Resonance

Your heart rate rises on every inhale and falls on every exhale. At six breaths per minute this fluctuation peaks — your autonomic nervous system synchronises. Follow the light with your breath.

InhaleAs the light grows, breathe in — and press and hold anywhere on the screen (finger or mouse). Your hold tells the instrument you're on the in-breath. ExhaleAs the light fades, breathe out and release your hold. Empty fully before the next rise. FollowHold on the rise, release on the fall. The glow deepens as you synchronise — that is coherence building.

How stressed are you right now?

The physiological effect — vagus nerve stimulation, increased heart rate variability — comes from your breath, not the screen. Six breaths per minute is the baroreflex resonance frequency. The light keeps the pace. Your breath does the work.
