Keep the dot in the blue band. Press to push it up, let go and it falls. Every few seconds a load event hits and drops it hard. The interference escalates across the session. Hold your attention through it.
PressHold down — mouse button, finger, or space bar — and the dot rises.ReleaseLet go and the dot drops. Steady, continuous pressure holds better than frantic tapping.Load eventOrange lines sweep across the screen. The dot drops sharply. Hold harder through it. Spikes escalate in frequency and force across four phases.
What this actually trains
This is a cognitive endurance instrument, not a physiological one. Under high cognitive load, prefrontal cortex function degrades — decision quality drops, attention narrows, you lose the thread. Signal Hold trains sustained attentional control against escalating complexity. That’s a real and measurable capacity. It won’t replace Driftline’s breathing work, but it builds the mental endurance that supports it. Think of it as the strength training to Driftline’s breathing practice.
Signal Integrity = % of time your dot stayed in the zone. Above 70% is strong. Phases: Baseline → Elevated → High → Critical. The phase label in the top right tells you where you are.
